Every year the Portuguese countryside is razed by fires. How do we grieve the already broken landscapes we inherit, and how can we build better ones by remembering our ancient love songs to the trees of the forest?
ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:
Beatriz Urze (they/them) is an artist and researcher from Portugal thinking and making with the environment from an experimental, anthropological lens. They studied Film and TV at the University of the Arts London, and later went on to get a MSc in Visual, Material and Museum Anthropology at the University of Oxford.
